Arize was commissioned to conduct a test fit for the expansion of Grace Church in Buchs, Switzerland. The objective was clear: to fully realise the church's vision while exceeding expectations in both design quality and the number of spaces the building could accommodate.
We approached the project with the same rigour and creative investment we bring to any commission, thinking carefully about spatial flow, gathering spaces, acoustic requirements and the overall architectural character of the building. Every design decision was made in close relation to the values and identity of Grace Church, ensuring that the architecture would feel like a genuine expression of the community it serves.
This was a project we took great pleasure in working on. It reflects a core belief at Arize Studo, that good architecture has the power to serve people, create belonging and make a meaningful impact in any given context.
