Smith & Nephew
A complex office reconfiguration for global medical technology firm Smith & Nephew, completed in two months in Zug

2,000 m² transformed and ready for independent use in two months
Smith & Nephew is one of the world's leading medical technology companies, and this commission in Zug required a specific and technically complex brief. A large existing office space needed to be reconfigured and divided into two fully independent, separately usable units, each requiring its own infrastructure and finish. The goal was to allow one portion of the space to be used independently from the other, requiring a careful rethinking of the existing layout and building systems.
Arize took on the full scope as general contractor and general planner, bringing together design, building permit, tender, execution, site management and engineering coordination under one point of responsibility. We managed the complete separation of the two units, ensuring that both met the technical and spatial requirements of independent operation while maintaining a coherent and professional finish throughout.
As general planner, we coordinated all specialist engineers and contractors, maintaining cost control and schedule management across the entire project. The full scope was completed within a two-month construction window, demonstrating Arize's capacity to take on broad, multi-disciplinary responsibility and deliver to a tight timeline without compromising on quality or technical precision.
